Writing a Post and Featured Slider Item
When writing a post you need to take into consideration as to whether it is a video or not. The custom fields are different if writing a video post for your portfolio or slider image.
A) Adding Main Post Image if simple blog post
When writing a new post click on the add image button. Choose an image that you would like to represent that post or Portfolio item. For a Portfolio post be sure the image is at least 700px in width so it looks the best it can be. Blog images can be smaller but at least 400px in width
Once uploaded place the url in a custom field titled “post_image” just below your editor. You do not need to place the full url, only relative like the screenshot below.

B) Writing a portfolio image post.

The first field with be used as the image thumbnail. The second field wlll be the image that opens up in the lightbox.
C) Writing a portfolio video post.

The first field with be used as the image thumbnail. The second field wlll be the video that opens up in the lightbox.
D) Adding a Featured Item Image in the Slider
When writing a featured post fill in the custom field with “featured_image” in order for it to show in the slider. The image must be at least 960px wide to display properly.
